a farewell to the american rags.

do you see the CUTE jeans in these pictures?

today they died.

yes.

they got snagged on the folding table i was sitting on in class today.

it was only a tiny snag, not enough to notice.

whew. that was lucky.

these jeans are my all time favorite pair of jeans i've ever had.

i went about my day with the snag, i thought they would survive.

but then, i put my knee up on my chair,

and

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPP.

they ripped. right at the knee.

i guess i could still try to wear them...but they are definitely not as classy as they once were.

but its about time

for these jeans to go.

i've had them since at least my junior year of high school...maybe before then.

they were that one pair i would wear over and over again until i absolutely HAD to wash them.

i've had some good memories while wearing those american rag jeans.

singing, hiking, yearbooking, SUU campus tours, hanging out with friends, family parties.

they were from the sale rack at macy*s.

well worth whatever i paid for them!

but now...

it's onto a new pair, a new set of memories, in new jeans.

the macy*s sale rack is in my near future.

I'd like to take this time and pause for a moment of silence. They will be missed.
